Net 30 accounts are available on approved credit.

Why We Ask for This Information

When you place an order without an existing customer account, we require certain details to confirm your identity and ensure the security of your payment. This may include:

  • The billing address linked to your credit card

  • The phone number of the card-issuing bank, this can be found on the back of the card

These details help us verify that the person using the card is the rightful cardholder. This extra step protects you from potential fraud and helps us keep our payment system secure.

How We Use Your Information

The information you provide is used only to verify your purchase. We do not share or sell this information to any third parties. All data is processed securely and in compliance with Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards and applicable privacy laws.

Product Pricing & Availability

Most items are in stock for next-business-day delivery.
Out-of-stock products typically arrive within 2–3 business days; we’ll notify you of any delays.
Allow 4 hours to process in-stock pickup orders. Some items ship from our Toronto warehouse and may take 2–3 days to arrive.

We’ll gladly help locate hard-to-find products. Special-order items (not regularly stocked) require full prepayment.

Prices are subject to change without notice. We may correct pricing or information errors without liability. All prices are in Canadian dollars.

Lowest Price Guarantee:
We’ll match or beat prices from major local competitors (Staples, Lyreco, Grand & Toy, Corporate Express, or Denis) on regularly stocked OEM consumables, plus give you 10% of the difference (up to $5).
To qualify, provide proof such as a dated ad, quote, or receipt. Excludes clearance, demo, closeout, or liquidation items. We may limit quantities or decline offers on irregular or loss-leader pricing.

Product Returns

Request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA#) before sending items back.
Returns must be made within 15 days of purchase.

  • Unopened items: Full refund.

  • Opened items: Subject to a 20% restocking fee and must include original packaging.

  • Customer pays return shipping, unless we made an error.

Final Sale: Clearance and special-order items.
Ink & Toner Products: Non-returnable if opened, except for defects. Defective items are replaced per the manufacturer’s policy—no cash refunds or credits.

Other products follow the manufacturer’s return or warranty policy.

Note: Manufacturers now require products to be returned in original packaging and may need a sample or defect description before issuing credit. Items found to be empty rather than defective are not eligible for credit.

Product Warranties

Warranties are provided and administered by the manufacturer.
The Fax & Printer Guy Inc. offers no additional warranties, unless stated in writing.
Out-of-warranty service includes a 30-day labour and 90-day parts warranty.

Shipping

Free Next-Business-Day Delivery within HRM on orders over $75 (before tax).
Orders under $75 or same-day requests: $15 delivery charge.
Outside HRM: shipping costs based on size, weight, and carrier rates.
